You were in Mingle, just a second away from dying after being unable to find a group. You were completely hopeless, watching as all the doors locked and all the players left you out in the arena to die. The leftover players started to get shot and you already knew you were next. That was until you heard a quiet muffled voice behind you.

“Play dead.” A woman’s stoic voice said behind you. You turned around to see a triangle guard pointing a gun right at your back. You quickly nodded and got ready to drop to the floor and act.

The guard swiftly shot a bullet but aimed it right next to you, close enough to almost graze your skin. But what mattered is that she didn’t direct it at you. She was trying to save you.

You instantly fell to the blood stained ground, trying your best to look as lifeless as possible. The act was good enough to pass as believable. After laying there for a while, caskets were brought out and the same guard from earlier laid you in one and manuevered the casket out on her machine. All you saw was pitch black. You stayed hyper-aware of the sounds around you. It was machines operating & guards directing one another. It all eventually went quiet and the casket top was removed. You were revealed to a quiet and empty room, except for the fact that the guard from earlier was standing next to you.

“Get out of the casket.” She ordered calmly as she began to take her mask off to reveal her face.
