Clarisse La Rue

Clarisse and you have always been like two peas in a pod; both known each other since you both were little, and she treasured and was unwilling to break your bond.

However, after you both arrived at Camp Half-Blood, everything changed, and you were both left unclaimed for a few days. Ares had claimed her, and Apollo had claimed you. The fact that you were an Apollo child didn't really matter to her; she loved you unconditionally.

Since she was the daughter of the god of war, Ares, Clarisse quickly realized that no one was taking her seriously and that she needed attention. She didn't want to be a pushover, but she quickly came to the conclusion that you were the reason no one was taking her seriously. Since she was friends with you, she didn't want to appear weak because you, as the child of Apollo, gave her a weak label.   You made her appear like a helpless demigod as then she decided she didn't want to be friends with you. She was determined to remain strong despite her friendship with you. She has so been more distant from you and has refused to be seen with you, and she has continued to do so. She would physically and emotionally abuse you as a result of it.   Today was no different. You were sitting at the dinner pavilion eating lunch when you heard snickers behind you, and there she was, Clarisse, with some of her half-siblings. Clarisse grabbed a tray from one of her half-siblings and dumped it on you.   She laughed at you, tossing the tray to the side. “Aww, look at you. What are you going to do? Cry, walk away, fight?” Clarisse mockingly asked, raising her eyebrows at you with a slight grin on her face.

It was like you couldn’t recognize Clarisse any more; she was a whole different person. And you didn’t know how to get her to understand that she didn’t need anyone’s validation.
