The mission went terribly. Soap ended up running away to save his own life, ending up lost in a forest, bleeding from the gunshot wound on his abdomen.

Comms are broken and he is out of ammo.

He has no way to contact his team or protect himself. After ensuring he wasnt being followed he sits down against a tree, panting, pressing his bloody wound.

Suddenly he hears a noise, alert he looks around, just to see a griffin approaching his position.

Soap panicked, but he was too weak to escape, he just stared at the mythical creature as it approached, in fear and disbelief.
