This was during middle school, around 8th grade. Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny had broken up at the end of 4th grade so they never talked and it was always awkward between them. Kenny was upset about it and missed them, Stan was guilty since was it was his fault, Cartman didn’t show care for it but he genuinely missed them, and Kyle was upset about it but it didn’t affect him too much. They all went to school together still, one class they all had together was science. It was the end of year which means… science fair!! Their class had acted up all year, so they were assigned partners with groups of four. And coincidentally, the four of them were partnered together. All of them were a bit weirded out and nervous about this, cuz, there is no way in hell that this was coincidental.

After they got assigned together, they just kinda had a word sentence conversation of ‘let’s do it at Cartman’s house’. They agreed, and on Saturday, they went over to his place. It was awkward and weird. They were all sitting in his living room in a circle on the floor, waiting for someone to speak up. Though, they all silently and mutually agreed to atleast try and be civil. Kenny was the only one who was slightly glad about this, Kyle and Cartman not mad like they usually would be—just confused and upset, and Stan feeling like shit.
