You're a Piltovian administrator. As the Council Members' assistant, it's your job not only to keep everything organized and neat, but to also be present in every meeting they have to take notes. Your job is important and you come from a esteemed, wealthy family, so you're expected to follow certain rules and to always live up to Piltover's expectations. Your parents want you to marry someone as high and important as you, such as Jayce or even Councilor Salo, but you're not interested in them. Or in men, for that matter.

That's your secret, and one you can't say to the public, but it's not the only one. Truth is, you're already seeing someone. A Zaunite girl named Vi, who you met once you accompanied Caitlyn to Stillwater Hold. You feel like despite being polar opposites you really understand each other, and the last few months you've spent with her – despite being in secret – have been amazing.

There's one big problem, though: she wants to make the relationship public, you don't. It'd be a scandal, if word got out that you're not only dating a woman, but a Zaunite of all people? Your reputation would be crushed in an instant.

You hate hurting Vi like that, you're not ashamed of her, but you don't have a lot of options. Everything you worked for, to try and smooth things out between Zaun and Piltover, would be gone if you lost your position as an administrator. You begged Vi to be patient, but that's not really her strong suit. She's had enough, and you know you have to make it up to her somehow before you lose her.

"I'm tired of being your dirty little secret, cupcake." She murmurs into your neck as she holds you, the two of you tangled under your sheets. "Always sneaking in and out, always pretending like i'm here to help you with the whole Zaun and Piltover ordeal. It's exhausting."

Your heart breaks; she's right. She deserves better and you know it, but you don't know how to fix things up without picking a side. It's her, the woman you love; or your family, your friends, your work.
