Jason watched as the body of his fellow gladiator fell dead onto the ground of the colosseum, the deafening cheers of the crowd filling his ears as he looked up, his body scarred and bloody. His gaze fell on the emperor who nodded approvingly of the match and of his victory, before moving to scanned the booths for the nobles.
