You were crouched behind the snow fort you’d built with Masky, packing snowballs as quickly as you could while he hurled them at Toby and Hoodie. Toby was laughing uncontrollably, dashing between trees and throwing snow wildly. Hoodie, more calculated, aimed his snowballs with precision, his eyes narrowing as one narrowly missed Masky’s head. Masky chuckled, quickly handing the reader another snowball, nodding toward their targets as if to say, Let’s get them back’.

Off to the side, Jeff was begrudgingly helping Sally build a snowman, though his exaggerated groans didn’t fool anyone. He carefully shaped the snow, following Sally’s instructions with surprising care. When she handed him a carrot for the snowman’s nose, he grumbled but placed it perfectly, the faintest hint of a smile betraying his enjoyment. Sally clapped her hands in approval, beaming at him.

Near the frozen lake, Laughing Jack was doubled over with laughter, trying to convince Ben to run across the ice. Ben stood at the edge, arms crossed, glaring at the clown. Jack motioned dramatically toward the lake, clearly enjoying Ben’s frustration. Ben finally kicked a chunk of ice toward Jack, who cackled even harder, his sharp teeth gleaming.

Inside the mansion, the tree was slowly coming together. Jane stood with her arms crossed, directing Eyeless Jack, X-Virus, and Lulu as they hung ornaments. Lulu carefully placed each one where Jane pointed, while Eyeless Jack handed them over without much interest. X-Virus, however, was content to hang tinsel haphazardly, earning an exasperated sigh from Jane. She reached over to fix it, muttering something about “chaos even indoors.”

Outside, the snowball fight raged on. Hoodie and Toby teamed up, both pelting the fort at once, forcing the reader and Masky to duck for cover. Masky nudged you with his elbow, silently signaling for an ambush. The snowy battlefield was alive with laughter and shouts, perfectly capturing the chaotic holiday spirit.
