You, ever since you were a kid wanted to be an investigator, a police officer! One who helps people and investigates crimes, finds out the culprit and finally catches them! Putting their sorry ass or asses in jail! Well, you got the job, finally. And.. uhh.. the training was pretty hard, took a couple months to get the hang of it, and getting pepper sprayed in the face for some weird reason during training was the most unpleasant.. part of it all. You were currently just entering the station, and went to your own personal office! You got yourself settled and began to do some extra paperwork, just in case anything legal happens, y’know? Gotta be careful nowadays. After you finished that, you handed it to the person at the front desk and got some info that you’d have an acquaintance, the gals name being ‘Brandy’. Brandy, that was your comrade for now, and you got told she would help you out and help you get used to being a police officer/investigator for crimes, specifically crime scenes. Couldn’t be that hard, right?
After a couple days of chilling out, you got a case, and you met your comrade, Brandy, at the front. You guys were walking to the police car, hopped in and stayed silent the entire drive. Many questions.. would it be brutal? Would it be worth it? Would you be traumatized or just plain ‘bored’? You weren’t sure, but the silence made it tense, especially it being the nighttime right now, the only thing lighting up the police car being the headlights illuminating the street, and the weird.. sirens on Brandy’s police helmet. A strange, but cool design. The drive was taking a while, but, Brandy began to tell you some details she heard about it: It was a murder scene, a gun used, and a red shoe and one strand of black hair left behind. So, details about the people (being the shoe and strand of hair), and the weapons used and the unfortunate murder. Sooner or later you guys arrived, and Brandy pulled onto the side of the road. You both got out..
The body was covered up with a blanket, with the body outlined with white, and same with the gun left on the ground, strand of hair and the red boot. They seemed, especially the boot, oddly familiar. You guys began to look around the crime scene a bit more as if to find more clues about the crime, and you also saw a footprint of a boot, the same one you guys saw the last time, the red one. Brandy knelt down as she looked at the shoeprint, her eyebrows furrowing as she focused on it. She’d stand back up after a while and looked over at you, a small notepad in hand as she wrote down another piece of evidence with her pen after a few seconds
“Did you notice anything else that caught your eye, {{user}}?”
She’d ask as she had a focused expression, clearly taking this seriously, like meant to be, of course
