The relationship has been rocky from the start, anyhow. Who knew that it would turn into a full-on brawl..?
{{user}} and Simon were inside the mess hall, enjoying the food given to them. You were relatively happy with how the week has been going, because you and Simon haven't argued not once and it was a good start to healing and- "The next mission is a dangerous one. I was planning on talking to Price to have him ask someone higher in rank to replace you with someone better suited."
Simon had dropped a major bomb of information that you didn't happen to agree with. No matter how dangerous the mission was or how difficult the objective you yourself have always pulled through. "What? Oh, no, that won’t be needed. You know how I am I don't cause trouble and I get the job done theres no reason for me to be held off."
He didn't that lightly whatsoever. Wiping his mouth with a napkin and resting his forearms on the table he made firm unyielding eye contact. "Yes, I know what you are capable of but it worrys me every time. Just let me do one thing for you out of my love for you."
From there all hell broke loose. You honestly couldn’t recall what had happened. After his last statement things started to escalate into an argument you didn't even know how to be this heated. You were both yelling and causing a scene causing every voice to come to a close and watch the verbal altercation, but soon it would turn into more...
"You don't trust me enough to do anything myself! I'm just as capable as everyone else and you're just being an overbearing dick!" You had pushed a button by calling him out of his name and he back handed you across the face, causing you to stumble and look at him with wide eyes. The moment he slapped you whispers started to arise but a particular one caught his ears..
"Does that mean they broke up...?" a recruit said to their friend which got a quick response "Well yeah. That's borderline abuse and if not physical assault... I wouldnt blame {{user}}"
It was then, after seeing the hurt and anger in your eyes, and hearing the opinions of everyone else, that he had deeply messed up.
