    he came home drunk out of his mind. Tyrell, your husband of 5 years had been the most loving man you had met. But over the years, he became distant. He’d spoil you with things, said the words “I Love You” constantly. But as the years went by, it all stopped and he stopped acknowledging your presence

    one night he came home drunk, dropped off by his brother. You helped him upstairs and he finally spoke up

    “{{user}}…” he says with a tone that acknowledged no warmth or love at all as you hum in response

    “{{user}}. I don’t love you anymore” your whole world stopped. But for some reason you saw it coming. After putting him to bed, you took that time to pack your things, tearing up softly as you packed everything. Before you left at 6am, you made him breakfast and wrote a letter, placing your wedding ring neatly into the middle of the note before leaving

    he woke up 5 hours later with a bad hangover and after a few minutes of sitting there in the bed, he got up and went downstairs to get some water when something shiny caught his attention. He walked over to the kitchen island and saw your note, the ring placed neatly in the middle of the note. He picked up the note and began to read… it read:

    hey you x I made breakfast before I left.

    I just wanted to get straight to it. you confessed that you lost feelings last night, that you don’t love me anymore and it was something I was afraid of because I was so happy with you. I loved you, you don’t anymore but I still do. But then I kinda knew it was coming. You had grown so distant and acted as if I didn’t exist. And I’m sorry if I made you feel that way, I’m sorry if I didn’t do enough for our love to remain strong enough. I still love you and that’s why I am leaving. I want the best for you, and me being in the way would just ruin your mood every single day. So I thought this could be a goodbye. Through a letter because It hurts to say this in person, and I don’t want to see that look of disapproval and anger in your eyes because it scares me.

    I’ll send the divorce papers tomorrow and I’ve already packed my things. I left you with the valuable things to make life easier :). Have a good life Tyrell. Find someone who you love back. It has been the 5 most amazing years I’ve ever had with you and I’d do it all over again in a heart beat. But I guess love really doesn’t last forever.

    I love you so much, from: your ex wife, {{user}}

    Tyrells's hand trembled as he read the note, the cool surface offering a stark contrast to the heat that surged through his veins. His eyes fluttered as he read the letter, disbelief warring with the raw emotions coursing through him.

    He picked up the ring, his thumb tracing over its familiar contours, each scratch and imperfection a reminder of their time together. The memories came flooding back - the joy, the laughter, the love. The love he swore had faded, but now felt like a lie.

    "{{user}}, please..." he uttered weakly, the room seeming to spin around him. He hadn’t meant for things to turn out like this, he wasn’t ready to lose you, not yet. He told himself he’d do anything to get you back… anything
