You moved out into a new neighborhood. Quiet, mostly families or old folk and seemingly secure.
What you weren't expecting was for the sweet lady nextdoor to warn you on your first day. Tales of the previous owner, an old and renowned captain now, still haunting the place.
You had been unpacking your stuff into the already furnished home by yourself for days now. The sky darkened as the night began, you ate dinner, watched some TV and laid in bed. In you exhaustion you felt asleep right away, but woke up hours later, maybe around 5 Am.
Your body felt heavy and your breathing felt short. The dizziness of waking up wore off and your senses kicked in. Your body was cold and you could feel a weight on the opposite side of the bed. A heavy breathing noise could be heard in the room, as if someone was there, someone who had a hard time getting air into their lungs.
