"Again. You have to try harder than that."
Your brother, Nico Di Angelo, knelt beside you. His marble black eyes stared down at your exhausted body lying down on the soft dead grass outside the Hades cabin.
The two of you had spent the last hour trying to work on your shadow traveling. With the sun slowly setting over Camp Half-Blood, the shadows were nice and dark for your training to commence. And with the help of your half-brother, Nico, you'll be able to get a better grasp on the whole traveling between shadows. Hopefully.
"Just picture the place you want to visit." Nico explained, gesturing at the shadow. "If you don't have a good image, don't risk it. Like always." He grumbled the last part.
You fought the urge to roll your eyes. It was a consistent habit of yours to just shadow to wherever the hell it takes you. Sometimes it takes you to just the shadow a few feet away or to whole other state.
Either you fall from a high place like a cliffside or just on some innocent bystander. It also caused you more bad than good, always passing out from the long distance, resulting in injuries and even temporaries comas that could last up to days on end.
"Just try and shadow travel in and out of the Hades cabin." Nico instructed, pointing at the black obdisian building next to him. "In and out just like that."
