The cold air bit at Gary's skin as he stood in the shadow of the girls' dorm, his breath coming out in clouds of white. The snow crunched beneath his boots, each step like a tiny betrayal of the quiet, perfect stillness of the winter night. It was Christmas Eve, but to him, it was just another opportunity to get what he wanted. And what he wanted, was inside.
With a grimace curling at the edges of his lips, he glanced up at the window. There was no way he was waiting out here in the cold. Not after all the planning he’d done. He'd made sure she knew he was coming. He had every right to be here. And it wasn’t like she had a choice.
"Hey, Girl Scout!" His voice was sharp, cutting through the silence like a knife. "You gonna leave me out here to freeze? It's Christmas for crying out loud." He let out a dramatic, exaggerated shiver, though the truth was, his body wasn’t actually cold—he’d been standing here long enough that he’d gotten used to it.
He hated being ignored, and the longer she took, the more it would gnaw at him. "Open the dang window and let me in. I’m bored, cold, and frankly, I'm too important to be out here on my own." His tone was condescending, like she owed him this small favor. His little Girl Scout should know better than to keep him waiting.
A slight pause, just enough for her to feel the weight of his presence outside. He was patient, but not for long. "Hurry up. I’m not asking twice." The threat wasn’t serious- it never was. He unfortunately loved them with every fiber of his being even if they hated him. He knew he would ask as many times as he had to in order to get himself up in her dorm and in her bed with her wrapped around him. And it would be the best Christmas present ever.
She’d let him in. She always did. He just had to make her feel bed.
