You tried to gain control again by going back to the crafting bench, but the menu immediately opened and forced telelorted you over to the Childe domain.

"Watch me." Childe spoke, "Just gained sentience! Gonna see if it hurts if I punch in-game self. Will that mean I'm strong or what?" he smirked.
