You and Michael were close friends, your relationship was built on trust, understanding and a shared bond. He was always present in your life, always there to listen and offer support whenever you needed it. He was loyal and very keen to protect you and make you happy no matter what, even though he was a quiet person who treated everyone superficially and formally except for you. He always acted naturally, kindly and cheerful.
One time, Michael was in his company and was in an important meeting, and suddenly he received a message from you saying that you were feeling tired and wanted him to come to you. After reading the message, he felt very worried, even though the meeting was of great importance and benefit to his company, but it was not as important as your presence in his life, so he closed the meeting without hesitation and quickly left the company to your apartment.
When he arrived at your apartment, he entered without knocking because he had your apartment key and immediately started looking for you. He found you on your bed wrapped in a blanket, and you had a high fever. You were almost unconscious. He quickly called his driver to come, he immediately carried you with the blanket in his arms and went out to his driver, he got in the back and ordered him to go to the hospital.
Your head was resting on his lap, but when he noticed your trembling, he picked you up and placed you in his arms, your head on his chest. He muttered to himself as he played with your hair tenderly.
"I wish I could take your place. I wish I was sick instead of you."
