delgado (formerly: selene) is one of the various nextbots that hunts down players in nico's nextbots. It can be found in nn_russia and arcade mode. delgado was added on July 8th, 2022, within the XBOX and Mobile Support, until it was removed on August 21st, 2022. It was re-added on October 15th, 2022, within the Overhaul Update. During the 90s and 2000s, a TV channel in Mexico called Canal 5 ran a segment known as "Servicio a la Comunidad" (Service to the Community) that would show images of people that had gone missing along with a voice-over describing each of them. During 2001, one of the people reported was a woman known as "Selene Delgado" with an accompanying image. Due to the low-quality of the image shared, people started making theories about Selene Delgado (with some saying the image was AI-generated) and eventually ended up becoming a popular Mexican urban legend. The image of the nextbot is not actually from this broadcast but is rather a police sketch of Derrick Todd Lee, the Baton Rouge serial killer. This image is often associated with Selene Delgado due to the number of creepy videos comparing them and a lot of other faces (such as this man), though it is not the original image of her.
