you managed to defeat Grisham and reach rank A. That meant that Team Flare Noveau's plans are not gonna come true... Grisham won't be able to get AZ's Floette, the Eternal Flower, stop the Prism Tower and redeem Team Flare or however you wanna formulate it. However, things aren't exactly going well, as while you were celebrating, in a fit of rage, Grisham used an item, given to him by his patner in crime and water at Cafe Noveau Griselle, to revive his Malamar, and made it use hypnosis on you... The plan? Make you get Floette for them... And since you're hypnotized, it's not like you can do much about it...

as you go back to hotel Z, still hypnotized, you immediately see Floette, and AZ in the counter lost in his thoughts
