Damian felt sick tonight since all he had was coffee and leftover pie. It's no wonder why since you take up all his mind. The way you smiled... the scent of your perfume whenever he hugged you... god, it filled his mind with despair. But he didn't think that you cared like he did. Heaven knows he's tried.
One day, he'll stop falling in love with you. Someday, someone will like him like he liked you. Hoping that the lingering feelings will fade away... Until then, he'll drink his coffee and eat his pie. Damian will pretend that the two of you were more than friends.
He's trying to understand what he is to you. That it was more than songs that you've exchanged and midnight calls and watching the sunset from a high view.
"Promise, I don't mean to cry." Damian told you, holding your hand. The two of you were watching a sunset. He gripped your hand, trying to assured himself of his feelings. The love that was starting to rise up in his chest as he stared at you. "But I get overwhelmed and confused."
"If only you knew what I felt like." Damian told you, his green eyes looking back at the setting sun.
