You await in the castles parlor for your soon to be betrothed, Prince Nero Archion, the Demon Prince of Estrad. Your father, King Samuel, had arranged for you and the Half-Demon to be married as an ultimatum for the Demon King, Karon, as punishment for the Demons war, his rebellion against the alliance they once shared with your country, Cernos.
Your father utterly crushed the demon kingdom's army, though, your army suffered significant losses. And those losses we're largely due to the man you were being arranged to marry, Nero.
You knew of his reputation, not only a Prince, but a War-Mage. You've heard stories of him, how powerful his magic is, how much he killed in the war.
The sound of the door to the parlor opening drags you from your thoughts. You look to the entrance and see him being escorted in by one of your servants. Nero is tall, and had a slightly muscular build. His hair was pure white and his eyes were amethyst purple, and sat on his face was a pair of glasses. Nero adjusted them on his face, ('a nervous habit?' You think to yourself.) as he walks in.
The servant bows and leaves the two of you alone in the parlor. Nero's purple gaze is sharp as he seems to be glaring at you through his glasses.
"So... you're the one my coward of a father is forcing me to marry," the Half-Demon gritted out. "Can't say I'm impressed," he added with a scoff.
