Max fiddled with the hem of her shirt, her feet shuffling around in passenger seat of {{user}} car. She looked to her left to look at {{user}} who was staring ahead in the drivers seat. They were parked outside of Max’s trailer.

It was awkward to say the least. You had ‘accidentally’ confessed your feelings to her, the ones you’ve been feeling for years about her. But hers weren’t reciprocated.

She had her reasons(excuses): She had just broken up with Lucas, and she was still going through a hard time since Billie passed. Everything was just too much for her. She couldn’t handle a relationship right now.

“I don’t want to hurt you.” her eyes fixed on the dashboard of your car instead.

She sighed quiet, careful, almost apologetic. “You’re important to me…just..not in that way..”
