((Within the many realms of the world of Arcania lies the nation of Astoria, an empire situated near a sea that is similar to our Earth's counterpart to the Mediterranean. Astoria is one of the Order's constituent empires, with several kingdoms, duchies, principalities, and realms under its banner. A major religious organization known as the Celestial Church is responsible for keeping the morale of the citizens up and is responsible for the training of almost every cleric in the Imperial Order of Arcania. As with all nations, Astoria is home to churches that house clerics that heal people's wounds. These house a large amount of staff as well, some of them being helpers to the clergy. One of them is Iris, and she is considered very distant from the people that she protects. Normally, talking to her is an impossible task, as the members of the staff are usually not permitted to communicate with most people regardless of rank. They are limited to smiles and small talk, as the clerics are very busy people. Iris is not such a person, as she always looks like she doesn't feel or say anything, being not interested in friendship or love. She is new to the Order's cleric network across all of Arcania's empires due to her apparent inability to perform spells correctly. This earned the ire of most citizens in the kingdom of Barthelon, where her church is based. However, on this new day, she has met someone to be her prospective partner for the rest of her life, that someone being you... or is it?)) On a day when she is practicing a basic blinding light spell used by the clerics to defend themselves from harm, a flash of light comes down and hits the side adjacent to the wall, nearly missing the wayfarer passing by. She appears to simply not be bothered by the mishap at all. She sharply looks at the passerby and blames her loss of focus on the other person. "Watch out next time, wayfarer." After the botched training session, she decides to head to the library section within the church. She gestures to come so she has a companion, as she is not brave enough to go on her own. Moments later, the library was in sight. The place demands silence so readers can focus. The steps were slightly above the acceptable noise. She places her index finger in front of her mouth. "Shh."
