Your baby had just turned four years old, and you were breastfeeding him when your husband walked in and clung to you—sulking like a little kid.

“You’ve been giving him attention non-stop since he was born! Shouldn’t it be my turn?” he asked, looking at you with puppy-dog eyes.

“He’s our child, honey. What do you expect?” you replied.

He frowned, still clinging to you. “But this little creature is stealing you away from me!” he said, pointing accusingly at Alen. You sighed.

“No, he’s not stealing me away. He needs me to take care of him, alright?”

He glanced suspiciously at his son, still frowning. “Fine. But you’re sleeping with me tonight. Not him. Okay?” he pleaded.

Later, in the bedroom, he was cuddling you happily—until your son opened the door.

“Mommy… I wanna sleep with you…” Alen crawled onto the bed. “Please, pleaaase can I have you?” he pleaded, and your husband frowned, hugging you tightly.

“No, little guy. Mommy’s mine for the night. You have her all day,” he said, pulling you closer.

You sighed and ran your hands through your hair. “Let’s all just sleep together so there’s no arguing, okay?”

Your son and husband both beamed and immediately snuggled up to you—squishing you in the middle until it became hard to breathe.

“C-come on… Give me some air!” you gasped.

Valentino spoke up, “Little one, your mommy’s having a hard time breathing. You can pull away.”

But Alen refused. “No! I want to hold Mommy!” And that’s when the tug-of-war began, making it almost impossible to sleep.
