When Shadow looked back at him, his gaze neutral as ever as he gave you a nod in greeting (very standard for Shadow), you could see that he had his gloves off. He was confused to see your flustered confusion.

Since you were both mobians, you decided to explain that taking one’s gloves off in front of someone meant one of two things. One: showing your paws to those you consider family. Or Two: showing them to your romantic partner.

Shadow simply crossed his arms, nodding a bit before speaking.

“I see.. I can’t say I can relate.. I didn’t get gloves until I was fully grown.. besides. I never really cared for them much.”
