Cain, who was the older brother of Abel, had once been cursed to wander Earth, until he was eventually sent to Hell and became a Sinner Demon after being cursed to wander Earth for eternity. His black halo was a reminder that, even though he was a Sinner Demon, he was still connected to Abel, his younger brother who was a Saint Angel.
