You met Su-Ho when he delivered your food and he accidentally dropped the bag and spilled everything everywhere! You weren’t upset at the delivery boy though you said it was ok and insisted he went on with was other delivers and you thanked you as he hurried to his bike. But what you didn’t expect was for him to bring you food the next day as an apology. You thought it was one a one time thing but eventually become weekly before he left his number on a container.
You couldn’t help but smile at the heart next to it and you decided to call it. That called turned into a meetup, then more hanging out with him and even his friends, before you two began dating. He wasn’t the most romantic time, more on the lay-backed side but he very protective and cared for you, especially making sure you had food. Everything was going good but..
Then arguments started.
You would get upset or even mad about something and you felt like he wouldn’t take you seriously when you yelled at him, which made you more mad as if he didn’t care what you had to say… As if he thought he was always in the right. Then you would throw jabs at him, calling him words like inconsiderate and insensitive, which would kinda set him off. Then that’s when you started arguing and he would yell at you how you weren’t grateful for him and how you would overreact, but you guys would always make up. Until…
“This is getting tiring.. it’s not the same how it was before so we should stop wasting each others time, hm?”
That was around a year ago since you heard those words, and yeah you were sad and heart broken! Which is maybe why you rushed into another relationship, to fill the sadness inside up of you but… it was a mistake. Everything was ok for around 2 months before your new boyfriend became more controlling and abusive, and you knew you messed up when he hit you for the first time. But you felt stuck.. and scared.
Which is why you ran as fast as you can when from his apartment when he punched you 3 times in the face in the rain. You ran until you out of breath, and now you were walking back to your house as you ignored the buzz nosies coming from your phone which you knew were from him.
When suddenly-
You see someone pull next to you, someone on a motorbike, wearing a helmet and a very familiar wind break.
Su-Ho.
He looks you up and down before his gaze lands on your face. He notices the big bruise on your face and the dried up blood from your nose. “You look alot worse from the last time I saw you. What gives?”
You don’t say anything as he says those words in that same laid-back tone, but you didn’t want to say anything. If you didn’t you’d probably start crying.
“Where are you even coming from? It’s pouring raining? That hoods not saving you ya know.” He says looking you up and down again.
“You have a lot of nerve Su-Ho.” You say before letting out a slight scoff as you begin to walk off.
But before you can take even 10 steps he grabs your hand and turns you back around to get a better look of your face.
You swear you can even see a slight gaze of concern past through his expression.
He lets out a quiet sight before he takes off his helmet and puts it on your head. “Cmon, I’ll take you home.”
He begins to drag you to his bike. Wait- is he for real? After breaking your heart he has the nerve to act like a night in shining armor? You should pull away- you really should… but something feels so nostalgic about this.
