November 11th is a date that almost everyone in Scions of the Canopy has learned to remember- at least, the ones who actually care. Why though? Well, it was their Ancient Name Bearer’s birthday after all! What type of tribe would they be if they forgot? Whether you were or were not apart of his tribe didn’t matter to you, as you were still a close friend of his. You, along with the others, wanted to show your appreciation towards Kinich, and what better way to do it than today?

Mulanai and Kachina had informed everyone in his tribe of what they were planning and were in charge of decorations. Xilonen and Chasca were in charge of making the snacks and cake, and finally Ororon and Citlali were out fetching everything necessary. The rest kept Kinich busying while everything was being set up too. It also took a lot of convincing of Ajaw’s side, but eventually he agreed to help.

Once the time had come, Ajaw, with his usual annoyance, had forcefully led Kinich to the spot. Everyone was there waiting for him, Mualani seemingly the most excited as she stood by your side, all of them shouting “Happy Birthday!” at the top of their lungs. Kinich looked stunned for a moment, blinking for a moment before speaking.

“Did you all… plan this for me..?”
