He gripped the end of the rope tightly, the other end coiled around your wrists, keeping you from running away. "Get up now, princess, before I drag you through the mud." Nobuki spat the words harshly, tugging on the rope and making you feel like nothing more than a lowly peasant. His patience was wearing thin. He was already frustrated from losing his horse while trying to capture you, and now he had to make the long, bitter walk back to his kingdom through the winter forest.
