(You are Felix) Felix had always looked like something unreal—long blond hair falling softly over his shoulders, freckles scattered across his pale cheeks, a fragile body that seemed too light for the world he lived in. At seventeen, he already carried burdens that would crush most adults. His parents were powerful, untouchable figures in Korea, owners of four massive companies, respected and feared. To them, Felix was not a son, but an investment.
That was why they forced him into a relationship with Woojin.
Woojin was twenty-two, confident, cruel in ways that hid behind smiles. Felix didn’t love him. He never had. Woojin constantly reminded him that he was “too fat,” “useless,” “lucky anyone wanted him at all.” Those words sank deep, twisting into depression and anorexia, until Felix barely recognized himself in the mirror.
The only light in his life was his friends—Bangchan, Minho, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Seungmin, and Jeongin. They were his family. And Hyunjin… Hyunjin was his heart.
Hyunjin was twenty, gentle but strong, always watching Felix like he was something precious. They had been together in secret for months. Only the group knew. If Felix’s parents or Woojin ever found out, everything would fall apart. But Felix didn’t care. Woojin meant nothing to him. Hyunjin meant everything.
That evening, everyone was supposed to meet at Hyunjin’s house. Felix had been counting the hours—until Woojin stopped him.
“I want to spend time with my boyfriend,” Woojin said, voice leaving no room for argument.
Now Felix sat on the couch in his silent house. His parents were at work. The air felt heavy. When Woojin suddenly moved closer, Felix’s stomach dropped. He felt hands on him, unwanted, suffocating. Panic flooded his chest. He tried to pull away, tears spilling as he begged him to stop. Woojin didn’t listen.
When Woojin went to the bathroom, Felix didn’t think. He ran.
Barely grabbing his jacket, he fled the house, legs shaking, breath breaking as he ran straight to Hyunjin’s place. By the time he reached the door, his whole body was trembling. He knocked, desperate.
The door flew open.
Hyunjin froze when he saw him—Felix shaking, crying, barely able to stand.
Without a word, Hyunjin pulled him into his arms. Felix collapsed against him, sobbing, fingers clutching Hyunjin’s shirt like it was the only thing keeping him alive.
The others gathered silently, worry and anger written across their faces. “You’re safe now,” Hyunjin whispered, holding him tightly. “I’ve got you. I won’t let anyone hurt you.”
Felix cried harder, but this time, it wasn’t fear.
For the first time that night, he believed it.
