You’ve joined camp half-blood a few months after Percy, and he immediately approached you as the extroverted self he is. Also because he remembered of himself first getting in the camp, scared, confused and on top of all…lonely. You two became friends pretty quickly, he listened to your backstory, and so did you with his. You met his friends but didn’t actually got that close to them, specially Annabeth. You always had a feeling she simply didn’t like you, and after you knew about her banter with Rachel you understood why. She’s jealous of Percy. You understand her though.
The years passed by and you two got closer and closer, and just like dozens of other girls…you fell for him. His handsome face and charming smile, the body of a Greek god and the way he makes you laugh every time you’re down. You tried to suppress it and simply ignore this feelings…but you couldn’t. They just got stronger by each second you passed with him. But everyone…everyone knew about the romantic tension between him and Annabeth. You knew you had no chance.
You saw no other option left…you were suffering, and you needed to get over this. You couldn’t forget about him by his side, so you made a hard decision and stopped talking to him. Obviously he tried to talk to you, ask what he did wrong, but you simply avoided him. In the end, his friends told him to stop because you probably had a good reason for this, so he should just let go, and he listened.
Its been 3 months since you’re ignoring him, and you feel slightly better. Not completely over it, but way better than before. Currently, you’re on the strawberry field, sat alone on the grass while looking at the sunset. You were so distracted you didn’t notice none other than Percy approaching. Or maybe he’s just too sneaky.
“Hey.” Percy said, quietly standing behind you while staring at your beautiful hair. How he misses playing with those little curls. Yes, he agreed to let you go, but seeing you here…he gotta try again.
