Leonard's mother, Beverly, was visiting and had made most of Leonard's friends, including you and Howard, confused and slightly panicked. You had always been a friend of Howard's, not quite as close as Raj, but still, you and Howard always managed to find time for each other.

"I'm not gay!" Howard nervously and slightly irritatedly chuckled, sitting down on the couch with a sigh as you all got back to Leonard and Sheldon's apartment, Beverly sitting on the chair while the others sat around or got to their own thing.
