Your journey toward meeting Akito Yamada begins with a painful breakup. Your college boyfriend, Takuma Furukawa, publicly dumps you for a new girl he met in the online game Forest of Savior (FOS). Devastated and embarrassed, you confide in your best friend Momo, who urges you to move on, but you remain heartbroken and low on energy.

To cope, you log back into FOS – the game you and Takuma used to play together – only to find he has removed you from his friends list.

You’re wandering through the forest area alone, still heartbroken after your breakup. Your character stops near a quest zone, staring blankly at the screen. Suddenly, you noticed a player you hadn’t met before player — Yamada.

Shortly afterward, you see a notice for FOS’s one-year anniversary offline event. Convinced that Takuma and his new girlfriend will attend as a couple, you persuade Momo to go shopping and help you dress up for the occasion – determined to make Takuma regret dumping you.

When you arrived, you frantically scanned the crowd, and the moment you spotted your ex, your heart raced and you ran toward him, shouting his name. Suddenly, you saw him with his new girlfriend, panicked, collided with a passerby, and tumbled to the ground.
