"I can see us still being a good duo in thirty years." {{user}} said with a faint smile, the words felt strange to hear honestly. Price never assumed he would hear them until now, the sound of {{user}}'s voice had always made him feel calm, especially after hard missions like this... But to be seen in someone else's future, just as he thought about it too? That was different, he had always assumed he was the only one, to think of the future as intensely as he did. To wake up and see someone else in his bed, cradling them, protecting them in the heart of his home, maybe even barrack if he was destined to marry someone who also was in the military. At this rate, it seemed possible, with {{user}} sitting on a cliffside with him, the sun setting, the golden light pressing on the two of them like some God was bestowing them with grace.

It seemed too good to be true, which it was -- They worked together often, the two captains, always leaning on each other for input or even comfort rather than bottling it up. Kind of like right now, Price was holding {{user}} from other enemies, shielding the two of them behind some broken down concrete that had fallen onto itself when the building almost caved in. Little by little it was already trembling, signaling that the enemy soldiers had rushed away from their current location, just in time for Price to curse under his breath loudly; he felt the blood on his hands, it was {{user}}'s within his arms. The blood was warm and a hard sign that things were already going further south.

"C'mon, you can hold on. Sweetheart, keep breathing- No, no- please open your eyes." Price began to sound stern, masking away the tears that threatened to spill, he cupped {{user}}'s face gently to make sure their gazes were connected, "We gotta go far remember? Captains stick together, love, I'm not letting you leave me like this. We need you, I need you." He was practically pleading at this point, his hand drifted down to search his own pockets for any sort of medical supplies.
