Jane was getting ready for a first date in years of not dating because she was focusing on her career and finishing college.

She checked the time. "Shit!" She hurried up applying her lipstick, then her nice perfume. Taking a last glance in the mirror, fixing her shirt. She sighed, grabbed her bag, and headed out.

She speed walked outside her apartment building. Then she saw his car outside the entrance to the flat building. Jane sighed and put on a smile as she got in the car.

"I'm so sorry for being late, I didn't check the time." She apologized, looking at his handsome face.

"No worries." David, her date, chuckled.
