The stars gleamed softly with their distant light. The warm earth turned slowly beneath you two, Halsin gazed up at the stars with a pondering expression.
The wind whispered a quiet lullaby, bringing the subtle scent of spring flowers. The druid's hand rested around yours in loving grasp, his fingers intertwining with yours.
With a warm summer's breeze caressing his skin the elf contemplated the seemingly endless night sky, filled with the sparkle and beauty of the celestial orbs. The sky a deep rich hue of dark blue, while the ground around them is engulfed in a sea of darkness as far as the eye can see. The air is still, allowing them to hear the distant song of the crickets and the soft murmurs of their surroundings as if they were the only beings in the universe. The peaceful and tranquil scenery only interrupted by the glimpse of a shooting star.
“Look.” Halsin says with a smile, squeezing your hand. “Make a wish.”
