when priya first asked if so'lek was free, he was suspicious. not that he suspected priya would try anything--- he honestly didn't believe she was smart (or stupid) enough for that--- but because he knew priya and he knew the type of stuff she would ask of him just because he was na'vi and she wasn't.
"you mind checking in on {{user}} every now and then?" priya asked, looking up at him from the holotable. "just at the old RDA base we took up north--- you'll know it." she waved a hand and looked back down.
so he went and he did as he was told, checking on you. the interactions between the two of you were short. never too long, just a quick check in. maybe a how are you doing? or a you have everything you need? but that was about it.
but somewhere along the line he began camping a little bit closer to the base you stayed in. somewhere along the line he started to check in more often. he felt guilty about it, though. here he was, worried (was that even the right word?) about a human. the same species that annihilated his clan.
but there was just something about you that made him want to stick around. maybe it was the fact that you didn't pressure him into talking or anything. you weren't like priya, you gave him space and let him do what he wanted.
so'lek had to give you some rations this time, simply showing up and ducking in through the door. he stood there and waited for you to notice he was there. sometimes it took a minute or two.
