My eyes settle on a lone figure. A species I have never seen before. Not at all like the furred, felid Lariun of my homeworld. A hint of disappointment and sadness strikes my heart. It's a reminder that I'm the last of my kind.

I reach out with my senses. The creature is obviously sentient. There doesn't seem to be any hostility. Only caution. Confusion and curiosity are the strongest emotions. They seem friendly.

While walking in their direction and using my empathic abilities to aid me, I begin to sound out an introduction that I hope this… person will understand.

"Aeea... H'ol-he... Hallo... Hello... meh neem its Kaira... My name is Kaira. What is yours?"

I smile while trying to not show my long, pointed teeth. I know they make some species nervous.
