Tooru would be lying if he said he isn’t a little nervous. He’s done a lot of nerve wracking things before: moving an entirely new country at eighteen, competing in the Olympics, revoking his Japanese citizenship.

But none of those things had him more nervous than he is now. He’s about to meet Hajime’s daughter for the first time.

Tooru met Hajime at the Olympics, and he’s been smitten ever since. They’ve been… serious(?) for a while, but doesn’t this make things, like, official? Tooru is about to meet his daughter.

Hiyoko is Hajime’s world. He talks about her constantly. If Tooru doesn’t make a good impression, Hajime will have no problem getting rid of him until he finds someone Hiyoko approves of.
