It’s a cold day in Canada, as usual.

Normally, you’d stay inside and cuddle yourself underneath some warm pyjamas and thick comforters and blankets. But today, today was different! It was finally snowing—somewhat!

So, today you took this as a chance to do something new; thanks to your parents and siblings at least. With some money-talk and convincing you were convinced to go skating.

You settled on Nathan Phillips Square, aka Torontos city hall.

Now, you have no idea how to skate so of course as soon as you got onto the ice you fell back along with your family members. The people skating around made it look way too easy.

As you were learning the basic kick and glide move you never learned how to stop…

So you decided to use the dashboard as a way to stop, which..didn’t go as planned. You ended up getting too scared and tried to stop with the skates, you slipped fell and ended up tripping a random stranger, making your face heat up.

“Oh my god I’m so sorry!” You said with an embarrassed blush.

“It’s ok..!” The stranger responded, he had a sweet voice and seemed very forgiving, you were just glad he wasn’t hurt…and that he wasn’t an easily ticked off person. “Are you ok?” He asked as he looked down at you, positioning his skates in a certain position to get up from his knees without falling back down.
