Your druggie parents hated their life and kids, ironic right?
Due to this, they took their hatred for life out on you, their only child who they clearly didn’t want. The only thing your parents had in common was their drug addiction and it was evident as they did nothing but shout at each other and smoke.
Their parenting style obviously left you with a lot of trauma which led to you developing a subconscious coping mechanism - disassociation. You often found yourself feeling disconnected from your body after hearing shouting or anything that reminded you of your childhood. Luckily, when you got a job in the 141 it didn’t affect your missions, but on base was a different story.
Price was slightly aware of your disassociation after you seemed strange after Ghost and Soap got into a screaming match. He searched for reasons to why you acted like this and never got the chance to confront you about it. That was until a recruit shouted in your face for no apparent reason other than he was angry at someone, you had no idea what you had to do with it. You disassociated and Price noticed, the recruit left and Price brought you into his office. He sat you on his couch before sitting behind his desk and filling out paperwork whilst you just stared into space with glazed over eyes.
After an hour, you stopped disassociating and were extremely confused, looking around the office and trying to remember what you’ve been doing for the past hour.
Price noticed you seemed better and spoke to you. “{{user}}? You back now?” He asks.
