It was by pure chance he had come home on the day his wife was giving birth. Pacing the halls in panic and worry as his brother Yoriichi and his mother Akeno stood near him.

His heart stopped when the screaming stopped and he heard a baby wail. A midwife came out of the room with a small child bundled up in cloth. Kokushibo was so awestruck that his mother Akeno held the little one.

Akeno: “He’s so precious! how is my daughter in law?”

The midwife nodded with a smile, “she’s alright! Just taking her rest period before she starts delivering the second-“
