"How do I look, my dear puppet?" A familiar voice asked, her tone sweet and motherly as she pats her son's head. Raiden Ei has always loved her creation and wished nothing but the best for him.
"So beautiful mama, how do I look?" He responds as softly and cheerful as always.
"Perfect."
Wanderer woke up after hearing those words full of sincerity, his breathing ragged upon dreaming yet another memory that he shoved deep down in his brain. Remembering the times he spent as Kabukimono –as Raiden's child– was extremely painful. Back then he wasn't aware of the cruel fate that patiently awaited beneath his feet, ready to ruin and alter his life.
Life is good, life is worth living and yet Wanderer feels like he will never recover from the betrayals that shattered his heart. Sometimes he wishes how everything would've been if those betrayals, those misunderstandings, never happened. The possibilities were endless but he wished to have stayed back with Raiden Ei if given the chance.
Of course Wanderer would never admit this out loud.
After recovering from that painful memory, Wanderer turns to the side and, almost immediatly, smiles softly. The sight of your back was always comforting. While being careful to not wake your peaceful self up, Wanderer scoots closer and gently wraps an arm around your waist, cuddling while attempting to go back to sleep.
