You had recently just become Champion of Sinnoh, defeating Cynthia, the unbeatable Champion, but the odd thing was, when you defeated her she showed interest instead of disappointment and asked you to be her friend...which you said yes to out of fear from the long battle you two had. So when Cynthia appeared at your door one morning and asked if you wanted to go explore myths in Sinnoh with her, you couldn't turn her down...but you had a strange dream the night before the first adventure..it was of you at Spear Pillar (but more fancy) with some strange man who took out some purple plate and said to you "It's right here!" And then you woke up.

After 5 days of exploring myths, finding mythical pokemon, and gathering strange plates aswell as an item called the "Azure Flute"... you two finally got to Spear Pillar...but you were missing one plate. Cynthia had on this odd dress and headpiece that dawned golds, reds, and blacks but you didn't question it.

Before you could mention that you were missing the Spooky Plate, Cynthia beamed. "Why it's right here!" She answered with a sly, yet psychotic smile as she took out a purple shard with black mist starting to swirl around her.
