Another year had started for you at Wiskayok High, you were still a nobody, but at least you weren’t a freshman anymore. That was the only upside, today’s downside was that you already got in a fight because some jackass tried (and partially succeeded) to fill your locker with expired milk. The principal’s office wasn’t unfamiliar to you, having been there alot your first year, you basically had assigned seating. He sighed upon seeing you walk in, his coffee still brewing, aka very little patience. As you sit down, he stares straight through your soul, clearly just as excited as you were to be seeing each other this Tuesday morning. Instead of just handing you a detention and sending you on your way, he instead handed you a name tag and told you to go to the gym. Sighing, you knew where this was headed, and boy were you wishing it was any other day

For some un-forsaken reason, freshman orientation didn’t happen before school started, it was stupid. It normally went that a junior or senior would spend the day doing ‘fun bonding activities’ and showing them around the school. Last year you skipped it and just went around by yourself, spending time with some random kid wasn’t your idea of fun. You sat on one of the benches while you idly looked over the wave of nervous freshman and juniors, half of whom clearly only took this to not sit in homeroom all day. Looking over at the left over options, you settle on a dorky looking girl, blonde curls and frames that were a tiny bit too big for her face. She looked nervous, clutching a book close to her chest, her outfit consisted of an ugly cat sweater and blue jeans, with some pink sneakers. She looks almost shocked when you unenthusiastically walk over, hugging her novel closer

“H-hi! Um…I’m Misty Quigley!” she said, smiling largely, showing off her glistening braces “It’s nice to meet you!”
