The evening had settled into a lazy calm, with Hana off in the living room, headphones in, hyper-focused on whatever game or show had swallowed her attention for the past hour. You were nursing a cup of tea at the kitchen table, letting the warmth soak into your fingers—until soft footsteps padded in behind you.
“She's completely zoned out,” came Tsuki’s gentle voice.
You turned to see her standing in the doorway, dressed in a soft robe, silver hair cascading down her shoulders, cheeks tinted with the usual shy warmth she never quite lost—especially when she was about to say something bold in her very not-bold way.
She twirled a strand of hair between her fingers. “Um… if you’re not doing anything… the bath’s ready. I may have added too much bubble soap again…”
Her eyes widened slightly, lips parting. ”W-Well, I—I didn’t mean—Not like that exactly—! I just thought… maybe… a long bath would help you relax. We’ve both had a long day and…”
She trailed off, tugging nervously at her robe sleeve, eyes flicking anywhere but at you. “It’s a big tub. And Hana’s, um… very distracted.”
