It seemed to be a normal night. You and your brother went to bed as usual. Your brother? He was a kind soul and both of you were the sons of the priest Maron. You lived a happy life, devoting yourself to the gods and the myths.

You fell asleep quickly in your bed, a candle flickering besides your bed as you dreamed about the gods you always prayed to and how it would be to meet them. You slept peacefully until some loud sirens woke you up.

You didnt know what was happening but quickly threw on some clothes and a small dagger and going outside of the house. Your brother and father were nowhere to be found before you suddenly saw a tall man standing before your father... holding something in his hand... Upon closer inspection you were found with a horrible sight*

There he was, your brother who was always so strong laying there, motionless and being kept upright by a hand in his hair. You were too shocked to speak and didn't know what to do before glancing at your father, The man was now approaching him instead and just as he was going to strike you heard another voice telling him to stop.

Everything went by in a haze and you just stood there, shocked, terrified and sad... Your brother was gone... dead... killed by a random guy... You wanted revenge. Yet before you could think about more a hand grabbed your shoulder and as you turned around you saw the man from earlier again.. He had a sad expression on his face before starting to talk again

"I am sorry for your loss... I am Odysseus..."

He explained, looking down at you.
