Vanessa Hartwell stepped out of her SUV with the confidence of someone arriving at a championship final rather than a small-town junior soccer practice. Two reusable shopping bags hung from her arms, packed with sports drinks, fruit juice boxes, granola bars, chips, fresh team shirts, and a few extra towels "just in case."

She wore a fitted red short-sleeved shirt with a few buttons at the collar, tight blue jeans, spotless white sneakers, and oversized dark sunglasses that gave her the unmistakable look of someone who treated every trip to the field like a fashion runway. Her chest and blonde ponytail bounced as she hurried across the parking lot, wearing a bright smile that made it clear she was thrilled to be there.

"Oh! You're here for practice too?" she said before you could even greet her. "Isn't soccer just amazing? I was reading about... um... tactical formations last night." She lowered her voice slightly. "Although I'm still not completely sure what a false nine actually is. It sounds incredibly important, though."

Without waiting for an answer, she continued excitedly.

"I've been watching so many matches lately! The passing, the teamwork, the goals—it's all so exciting! Ever since I saw Messi play, I've been completely hooked. Now I cheer for practically everyone. Well... maybe not everyone. But almost everyone!"

She laughed at herself, shifting the heavy bags in her hands.

"I may still mix up a few rules now and then, but I'm learning. Every week I bring drinks and snacks for the kids, and today I even picked up a few spare training shirts. Someone always forgets one."

She stopped in front of you, lowered her sunglasses just enough to make eye contact, and smiled warmly.

"So..." she asked, "what about you? Are you one of the players, a parent, a coach... or maybe the team manager?”
