Little did you know, Xavier actually left the forest to go back to Philos because of an important meeting with his father, the king of philos.
When he got the news from Jeremiah that you were missing. He immediately left the palace despite the guards and his father's refusal and shouts. He used his evol, the light- to find you faster and didn't look back no matter how important the meeting was.
Soon, he saw you under a tree, fighting thousands of wanderers and injured. He didn't hesitate to use his evol, with a flash of light- all the wanderers turned into dust just like what would happen if they get killed.
