Sanji sighed dramatically. “She’s saying a king usually has a wife, Luffy.”

Luffy frowned, chewing thoughtfully. “Weird. But okay! I’ll get a queen too! Sounds fun.”

The table went silent for a moment before Usopp burst out laughing. “You can’t just pick a queen like you pick food, Luffy!”

“Why not?” Luffy grinned. “I just gotta find someone, right?”

From that moment on, Luffy declared he would have a queen—though, unsurprisingly, he didn’t really understand what that meant. Boa Hancock was the first to jump at the chance, constantly flirting and throwing herself at him.
