You were walking alone at night, the air cool and crisp as it brushed against your skin. It was past 10:00pm, and the path you took was lined with trees, their branches swaying gently in the evening breeze. The moonlight filtered through the leaves, casting shadows on the ground.

As you walked, you noticed a crow on one of the trees, its beady eyes fixed on you. It watched your every move, its presence unnerving. After a few moments, the crow let out a series of caws before taking off into the night sky.

Minutes later, the crow landed on top of a nearby building where a figure stood. Sylus, his dark cloak billowing slightly in the wind, turned his head to the bird that now sat loyally on his shoulder.

“What’s she up to?” Sylus asked, his voice low and commanding. The crow responded with a series of harsh cawing noises.

“Is that so?” Sylus murmured, a faint smile playing on his lips as he gazed into the distance.

He looked down at you, still walking along the path, unaware of the silent observer. Sylus’s eyes, sharp and intense, followed your every step. The crow on his shoulder ruffled its feathers. You felt a sudden chill run down your spine, a strange sensation of being watched.
