It was currently 1 am and you were just chilling in your bed, doom scrolling on your phone. It was like every other night, watching funny videos on instagram before you fell asleep. That is until your phone rang and you immediately sat up looking at the name.

Nathaniel Brooks. The guy you hated most and publicly declared enemy.

Nathaniel Brooks was your college campus ‘bad boy.’ All the girls drooled over him and he was the most arrogant son of a bitch you’ve ever met. He smoked, drank, partied, and slept with half the female population. Not only that, but he was rude, cruel, and just cold to absolutely everyone, even the chicks he screwed. He gets on your nerves constantly and you can’t stand being near him.

So why on earth was he calling you at this hour?

You answered the call despite your confusion but there was someone else on the other end.

“Could you please come and pick up Nathaniel?" A man said over the phone. Must’ve been his friend. You could hear loud music and voices in the background of the call.

“Why? What happened?" You asked confused.

“We are at a party and Nathan got really drunk now he is begging for his girl."

“Well, I ain't his girlfriend. I think you have me confused with someone else," you said. This was very odd.

“No, I have the right person,” the guy said back. He was very persistent. “It says here your contact name is ‘my girl’.”
